PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond) saw blades feature cutting edges made from synthetic diamond particles, offering incredible hardness rated at Mohs level 9. This level of hardness makes PCD blades significantly more durable than traditional carbide-tipped saw blades, extending their lifespan by 20 to 50 times, which in turn helps cut down on replacement needs and improves overall efficiency. Compared to carbide-tipped blades, which are mainly suited for softer materials like wood, plastic, and laminate, PCD diamond blades offer far greater versatility and efficiency. They are designed to handle not only various types of wood but also tough materials such as stone, concrete, and composite materials. This extended range of applications makes PCD blades a top choice for industries that demand durability and precision in heavy-duty cutting tasks.
